A wonderful night of fun at the Castleisland Community Centre. Twenty talented dancers wowing the audience with excellent choreographed routines. Spectacular costumes and professional lighting and sound set the scene magnificently. People thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Lots of money was raised for a local school and a GAA club. The community came together in organising a truly amazing evening.

Des was extremely happy to receive: Best Stage Management Award at the A.I.M.S annual awards night held at the INEC, Killarney. Des is just one of the members of Tralee Musical Society who won an award that evening and we were delighted to interview Des and share in his excitement of winning. A.I.M.S (The Association of Irish Musical Societies) which provides a voice to musical theatre in Ireland.

A spectacular evening of comedy and fabulous food at the Il Forno in Tralee was arranged by Gary O’Dowd who lost his father Maurice to suicide and wanted to raise awareness on the subject. Showing people, it is good to talk about it and to raise awareness for charities like South West Counselling which provide support for family and friends who have lost loved ones as well as people who feel suicidal.
